The next generation drink backpack is complete just in time for Phreaknic!

This version immerses 2 liter bottles (or whatever other bottle you want) in an ice bath. It uses compressed CO2 to force your beverage of choice out of the bottle and into the tubing for dispensing.  A whistle was added to make the venting a bit more fun and the relief valve helps prevent any disasters.

The cooler circulates coolant cooled by dry ice through stainless steel coils immersed in the drink containers. The drink is then dispensed using nozzles held in each hand. Extensive field tests at Phreaknic shed light onto design issues that will be corrected in the next version.

I didn’t take a whole lot of pics and they’re not the best ones, sorry folks, but I’ll show you what I got…

Again, sorry for not having the best pics in the world of Phreaknic and despite the lack of pics(or good ones for that matter), the photobooth breaking, and environmental difficulties with the multitouch coffee table…it was a lot of fun. I’ll do better next time I promise.
