Meeting Minutes

Brent started the meeting at 19:35 with a review of the board action items. Facebook messages are up to date.

Kinsey gave the netadmin report at 19:36. We're working toward signing a new internet contract since other options are not currently viable.

Trae gave the facilities report at 19:37. We've been chatting with the library and we'd like any interested parties to volunteer there 1hr a month as part of a partnership. The dust collector is nearing full completion. There is interest in an enclosed and conditioned area upstairs for resin printing purposes and options are being considered.

Aaron gave the financial report at 19:44 (see above).

Adam gave the publicity report at 19:49. The repair cafe turnout was pretty good last week. There is a concern that the repair cafe is our only real recurring public presence and that we should be advertising classes that we're hosting. Trae is hosting a root-beer making class soon and Brian is hosting another misfit toys class as well. There has been talk of a class on doing home wiring for network or A/V purposes, but no timeline has been set. Brent will be hosting a 3D modeling class in July.

Taylor Fuller from the Huntsville Chamber of Commerce came to visit us to share some information about how they work and what they can do to help us grow our organization and get our name out there.

The next meeting will occur on March 12th.
