The idea here is to centralize research on methods of doing CAD.
- Be able to make Full use of the Shop's CNC Machines
- Etching Electronics
- Making and cutting out shapes
- Imagery etching
Blender is a 3d modeling tool that can be used for CAD. It even exports to *.stl!
We used it to make a really simple part (Candy_Machine_3d_Modeled_Part).
- CNC4Free(Has a Tutorial E-book that is interesting - even though it uses gmax)
- Archimedes (Open CAD)
- Stepper List (Printer Source?)
