Overview
The purpose of this project is to work on creating miniature gaming dice of various geometries (D4, D6, D8, D10, D12, D20). I'd like to use this a a way to explore various small scale construction techniques. I picked these shapes because they are reasonably complex, but not overly so, and because they are geeky enough to remain amusing.
It is my intent that once sufficiently far along with a technique I will begin producing "how to" content in the form of written instructions and/or videos. Hopefully I'll be able to use these as nice tutorials on all the various programs, tools, and techniques involved.
Method 1: Laser Cutter
- Pepakura -> Inkscape -> Lasercutter -> cardstock(110#) -> gluestick
