Overview
This will be my log of making Limoncello. It's a great drink and fairly easy to make.
Basic Ingredients
- Lemons
- Alcohol
- Everclear
- Vodka
- Sugar
- Water
Hardware
- Zester
- Large air tight container
- Bottles for completed
Batch 1
This is kind of a test batch because of time issues. I only have about 2.5 weeks before Phreaknic.
Ingredients
- 750mL Everclear 190 Proof
- 20 Lemons from Target
Log
- Purchased Lemons, Everclear, Zester. Zested 20 lemons and combined with Everclear. Started the setting process at a about 10:00pm. -- 18 October 2011 (CDT)
- Added 1182ml (5 cups) water and 828ml (3.5 cups) sugar -- 30 October 2011 (CDT)
