In approximate order that I will work on them

Desktop Jacob's Ladder

  • Goal: Tiny little mad scientist background eye candy
  • Status: Late assembly stage

Portable Semi-Cover for Motorcycles

  • Goal: An idea for instructables.com: Small, unobtrusive motorcycle half-cover covering the seat and handlebars only that can retract into a small container.
  • Status: Late assembly stage

Recharging station

  • Goal: A reasonably small box (maybe a cubic foot or two) that will house ~10-12 places for wall warts to plug in, but hidden away, with only the cords showing with labels showing what they are. Have the thing plug in the wall socket, and maybe even be mounted up on the wall at desk-height. It would be the single place to go to recharge anything---phone, gameboy, batteries, etc.
  • Status: Idea Stage

Insta-graf

  • Goal: Dot matrix auto grafitti gun
  • Status: Idea stage

BikeFi

  • Goal: Roving Wifi-enabled lightweight computer connected to an onboard digital camera, possibly with a GPS.....on a motorcycle...an OLD motorcycle.
  • Status: Scouting Materials

OpenSaysFi

  • Goal: Encrypted communication to home server to open garage door (triggered by BikeFi), replacing insecure radio opener previously in place.
  • Status: Idea Stage

Combo Small Lunch Freezer/Fridge and Foot Warmer for Office Workers With Cold Feet

  • Goal: An idea for instructables.com: Small under-desk foot-rest thingy that office workers use (you know - the thing that looks like an angled footstool), with a thermoelectrically-cooled freezer compartment for prepackaged lunch-type meals (e.g. Lean Cuisines), and using the waste heat generated by the thermoelectics to generate a warm air flow across the feet propped there.
  • Status: Scouting materials

Über-Coffee Maker

  • Goal: Both übercoffee and übermaker-of-coffee
  • Status: Idea stage
