Overview
I'm building one of these, with a few modifications that will hopefully simplify the design and make it portable.
Design sketch:
DONE:
- bought two 10MP cameras
- bought one e-reader in eager anticipation of completely scanned bookshelf
TODO:
- fabricate A/C adapters for the two cameras (or buy, if it proves not worth it)
- buy/borrow/steal two plates of plexiglass or acrylic
- construct frame and rest and platen and operating arm and bike-brake triggers
