Requirements
Really, we need 4 bedrooms and 2-3 bath with a living room for 4 people. 3 bedrooms with 2 baths and a living room is fine for 3 people. A concrete slab shed would be awesome, but we can build one if necessary. We generally want to limit our location to "near Digium".
Things To Ask
- How is the foundation?
- How old are the A/C and heating units?
- Is the plumbing good?
- Does the wiring need any work?
- Is the house wired for network?
- Does the house have a termite contract? (is someone actively checking for termite issues with traps and such)
- Does the house have pest problems? (rats, mice, termites, earwigs/silverfish, etc)
- What are the timetables on closing?
- Any history of mold? (important - eradication can take huge amounts of money)
