3D Scanning Day
Photographs are so passé. Videos still lack depth. We live in a three-dimensional world, so why should we represent it in just two dimensions? Now with 50% more dimensions, this event, held at Makers Local 256, will allow you to be digitized and archived as a three-dimensional computer model!
Using the power of the Microsoft Kinect and a desktop computer, we will be making models of whoever wishes to be scanned. These models can then be imported into video games, used in animations, printed on 3D printers, and more! We can do headshots, and will hopefully be able to get some full-body models as well.
We'll have some snacks and sodas, and probably some extra Halloween candy, and feel free to bring your own food and treats!

If you attended the event and have not yet released your model (and desire to), then add you name to this list or shoot me (tylercrumpton) an email. I'll put your model up here under whichever name you choose. If you only wish to have a personal copy of your model file, email me, and I'll send it to you.
