Big Arcade Machine

Overview

This is the big arcade machine. It's based on the cabinet of an arcade game that few care about. Now it runs:

• Windows 8.1
• HyperSpin
• MAME

Known issues

• HyperSpin locks up sometimes
  • I suspect it's because too much input is provided..? Kids are especially good at locking it up. Alt+F4 and restart fixes it.
• The joystick bindings are screwed up every time the OS is rebooted.
  • Maybe there is some way to get Windows to enumerate identical USB devices (including identical serial) in a certain order, but I don't know what it is.
  • Potential solutions include designing our own button encoder.
