Description
Jessica Garcia is a local chainmail artist who has taught several introductory courses on making chainmail to the community via Makers Local 256.
This class will teach how to create a bracelet using the Helm Weave pattern. The pattern will have a St. Patrick's day theme, with either large green rubber rings with smaller gold rings, or large white rings with smaller green rings. Both ring sets will be available and you will be able to choose between them at the class.
The cost of the class is above and includes materials, though YOU WILL NEED two flat nosed pliers for tools. You do not want pliers that have teeth, the teeth will mar the rings. You can pick these up at Jo-Anns for about $10 each.
- Harbor Freight has cheaper pliers for about $3-4 if you're interested in saving some money. http://www.harborfreight.com/hand-tools/pliers.html
- Jessica will have 4 good sets of pliers available to rent for an additional $5 if anyone would like to try before they buy.
