Hey Makers!

Wayne Sisco has setup a tour of the Lincoln Mill for us for this upcoming Monday at 5:30 (just before our member's meeting at 7:30).

As many of you have noticed the heat at the shop is holding us back, and it is unlikely that we will be able to air condition the 203 Brown St. Location. Our lease is not up for another six months, and I'm hoping when it does we can find a new home that offers A/C.

The Lincoln Mill is one of the better opportunities that's been come across. What is being offered is an open 1400 sqft space, with potential expansion into the Life cycles area. The area has AC, and comes with access to a conference room, one large common room, and one small social area. It sounds like we would also have access to the Lincoln Mill's basement for storage. The space also comes with access to a bay door, and utilities are included in the lease.

Things going into the Lincoln Mill include:

   * Coffee Bar
   * Restaurant
   * Lofted Apartments (currently under construction)
   * Straight to Ale Brewery (currently under construction)
   * Dance Studio (already established)
   * Yoga Studio (classes started this week, studio TBD)
   * Theater
   * A handful of Engineering firms
   * Life Cycles (bicycles for charity), (already established)

Wayne would like to invite all of the makers to come out this Monday at 5:30 to see if the Lincoln Mill has what we're looking for.

Hope to see you then!
Jeff
