Flickr group for showcasing hackerspace whiteboards.
Why
Having a conversation with nykodemus the notion was brought up of whiteboards being a common factor among nearly all hackerspaces. I had the idea of making a flick group to help people share in this commonality with the added bonus of sharing the ideas on them.
Progress
- 21:48, 3 June 2010 (CDT) Made the flick group, invited folks known to be part of hackerspaces, and seeded it with photos from Makers Local 256 after coming up with the idea yesterday.
- 22:04, 3 June 2010 (CDT) Announced it on the Hackerspaces.org discussion list and to the Makers Local 256 general list.
- 22:06, 3 June 2010 (CDT) Forgot about twitter, but it's all good now.
- 02:15, 1 July 2010 (CDT) Scoured hackerspace groups on flickr and invited whiteboard pictures to be added to the gtoup.
