Overview
Have you ever been driving down the road and wanted to call the radio station you're currently listening to right now? Maybe to request a song or to talk to the DJ or maybe ask what the last couple songs they played were. Unless the DJ tells you their phone number right away (which is rare) you have to fumble with your smart phone to google around to find the stations web page then drill down to their phone number. This is dangerous and should be avoided!
My idea for a safer app is thus:
As soon as the app is started on your phone it will use the GPS to find your location. Then it will display large number buttons so you can quickly type in the FM frequency. It will then look up the nearest station with that frequency. Then it gives you large buttons to immediately call them or get the last few played songs if available and other radio station info.
