Overview

This is an idea to build a combo desk / chair similar to the Emperor 1510 from MWE Labs. Theirs costs $6300 so as long as the project falls well below that all will be well. The first prototype should be built of wood then built into steel / aluminum / metal later. As long as it has the basics: Chair, footrest, keyboard/mouse tray, monitor support (up to three), and some sort of mechanism to move the monitors out of the way (automatic or manual) then it will solve the basic needs to replace the standard office desk and chair. Making sure the chair and footrest is adjustable to lean back into even more comfortable positions will also be a priority but not required.
