You understand that the Makers Local 256 is a place where people will come to work on projects, and that some of the tools used in these projects are powered, and dangerous. You are responsible for the acquisition and use of personal safety equipment. If you do not know how to safely operate a tool, you are not to use that tool. You are not to use the power tools unless another person is present and able to call for help. Home made bladed power tools are not allowed at the shop. You understand that there is no guarantee of access to a public phone at the Makers Local 256 Shop. You understand that if you get hurt and no one is available to work a phone, then there is no phone available to place calls with. By entering the premises you assure that you are familiar with power tools and are capable of deciding whether you should be in their presence while they are in operation. In the event of a power tool accident, Makers Local 256 will not be held accountable for your safety. You understand that Makers Local 256 is not responsible in any way for any personal property that you bring to or leave on the premises.
By signing below you agree that you shall indemnify and hold harmless Makers Local 256, its Members and its Officers and Board Members for any damages, injury or injuries arising out of you or your guests use of any tools, power or otherwise, while on the property and premises.
By signing below, you further agree that you shall indemnify and hold harmless Makers Local 256, its Members and its Officers and Board Members for any damages, injury or injuries arising out of the use of any item you or your guests have created, manufactured or designed on and off the property and premises of Makers Local 256.
By signing below, you further agree that you shall indemnify and hold harmless Makers Local 256, its Members and its Officers and its Board Members for any losses, costs, court costs and reasonable attorneys' fees, damages, complaints, claims or lawsuits arising out of any injury or injuries incurred or caused by any tool, power or otherwise, or the use of any item you or your guests have created, manufactured or designed on and off the property and premises of Makers Local 256.
