Jeff attended on online seminar in 2021 by Spore, these are some notes he took:
- Kratky system is the easiest to get into

- only a fraction of the roots should be submerged
- add a capful of hydrogen peroxide to green slimy roots

- Recommended beginner things to brow:
- Kale, cabbage, spinach, lettuce, basil, strawberries, cherry tomatoes, bell peppers, herbs
- pests
- whiteflies. sticky traps
- aphids: occur when there are low amounts of magnesium
- mold:
- root rot: submerging roots, bundled nasty mess. allow oxygen flow to cure.
- maintenance
- replace nutrients every month
- check undersides of leaves
