Draft Policy Discussion

-Objected to by Phil Showers: This is not the correct mechanism for altering the Membership Application. Further, a list of dangerous tools is unenforceable and unnecessary.

This Draft Policy is to adapt the waiver members sign stating they will not use power tools unless there is another person at the shop to explicitly state the tools that this addresses.

While this policy is associated with the member application, if it remains in force perpetually, it should be documented here on the wiki with the other policies. I agree that the policy should not "call out" a specific list of tools, but should aim to have people recognize that tools of this nature have inherent dangers and should be used with some precautions, in these cases, having a second person in the vicinity.
