Overview
For my Link (The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess) costume I had bought a metal replica of the Master Sword. At DragonCon in Atlanta they apparently do not like when people draw out metal swords to pose for pictures so they "peace bind" it in its scabbard using industrial strength zip ties. This year I decided to use some of the scrap wood, PVC, and other materials we had lying around the shop to make a wooden replica of the Master Sword. I actually started on this back in February 2012 and have spent just one or two hours a month on it so far. It's my very first prop and the first thing I've ever made out of wood so I'm not trying to win any awards or impress anyone. My goal is for someone to look at it and just recongnize it as the Master Sword from the Legend of Zelda.
