Checklist for leaving the shop. This should be posted in a prominent place when leaving the shop.

Shut and lock overhead door and the side door.
Unplug or turn off all unnecessary equipment (LEAVE THE SERVERS AND CAMS ALONE).
Turn off A/C units.
Turn off all lights (office, outside, main room, hall, kitchen, bathrooms).
Close bathroom doors.
Close fridge and freezer doors.
Lock front door; wait 10 seconds for auto-lock to engage. If not, try pressing the lock button in the middle of the code number buttons. Also, ensure door is shut so bolt is aligned with eye.
