This guy is receiving reports that a bunch of paper airplanes he launched from a near-space altitude weather balloon over Wolfsburg, Germany have flown as far as South Africa and the West Coast of the USA. This project is to test the feasibility of such a long-ranged flight of a paper airplane or aerodynamically similar aircraft that is carrying a GPS tracking device to verify its flight path.
