Overview
ROV Project would be to create and build an underwater ROV that can be tested at, and hopefully used by, the Space and Rocket Center during their weightlessness mission training for space camp astronauts. This has not been discussed with Dana (the dive master at the SRC). Even if they can't use it, she will likely let Omegix and other scuba certified volunteers test the ROV during a volunteer dive.
Planned Meetings
- Jan 7th. General Interest and Hull Design.
- Chrysalis has previous experience with ROV hull design from her undergraduate senior design project at Georgia Tech.
- TylerCrumpton has a bilge pump available
- Leverage OpenROV project
Available Resources
- Bilge Pump - TylerCrumpton
- Book on building ROVs - Omegix, possibly already in the ML256 Library
- Large Diameter PVC - Omegix (at his house, may need truck to transport)
