I want to make a Daft Punk helmet, and incorporate something unique into it.
Contents
[hide]Shell
Options
- Buy from Volpin Props (my inspiration) - $300
- Buy from eBay - $200
- 3D Print - $100 in plastic
Finish
It's either chrome or nothin! I've seen silver spray painted ones, no dice. I currently like the idea of gloss/matte black or hot pink.
Lights
Probably neopixels
Circuitry
The gimmick to make this helmet unique: use SNAP (or similar wireless arrangement) to synchronise a pair of Daft Punk helmets.
- SNAP module
- MSP430 (or an atmega328, I just want to write real firmware, not "sketches")
