[hide]Overview
A 3D printer capable of printing parts to make another identical 3D printer.
The Plan
- I'd like to use 3rd generation electronics, namely what the Makerbot Cupcake CNC is using, just to stay ahead of the curve.
- Heated bed to allow for a wider variety of printing medium usage and to prevent warping of the printed objects.
- Different heads after the initial build to give it some added flexibility/capability. See Options section for more details.
