Overview
Project finished!
So, my mom has a large collection of thimbles. Normally, I am against collections that do nothing but collect dust, but my mom is a seamstress, so it at least sort of makes sense. Yes, they still just collect dust. They are not actually useful for anything but collecting dust. But there you go. She has about 50 atm, and she needs a bigger shelf. And she love lighthouses. So I made a shelf that looks like a lighthouse and big enough to hold at least 100 thimbles. My dad, jmcarthur, ratmandu, and Kevin all helped in some way with this project.
The top of the lighthouse houses a battery-powered LED that can be turned on and off.
