Meeting Minutes

We were profitable AND sustainable in November and December! Yay! In 2011, we were only $700 away from being sustainable. Year-end receipts were handed out at the meeting. If you still need yours, contact Matt Robinson.

Fac update: Tim organized efforts to unpack much more of the remaining boxes. Phil brought in the smudge pot (salamander) to keep the shop area heated with oiling being donated by Tenders. New speakers have been installed in the office area. We can now start setting up the library since many of the boxes have been cleaned out and organized. Josh Pritt has taken ownership of the recycling project and is off to a running start. The can crusher has been installed by aluminum can box. PLEASE DO NOT PUT FOOD TRASH IN THE BLUE BINS (this includes plates that have been eaten off of and are not reasonably clean). Please also make sure to remove the caps from plastic bottles so they don't explode when crushed. Any comments can be directed toward Tim Heath.

We will have a hackathon this weekend in concert with the global hackathon.

We had a successful rocket launch in Talledega (see the blog post on our homepage).

Our next meeting will be held February 15th 2012.
