Meeting Minutes

Phil Showers started the meeting at 19:34 as a stand-in for Tyler Crumpton since Tyler is helping with the board election.

Our tax form is currently being processed by Phil. See the remainder of the treasurer's report above.

Hunter gave the facilities report at 19:37. There's a new VM for IoT projects with a MQTT stream as a basis. See Hunter if you need an account. The internet has been upgraded in the recent past and we're using it heavily!

We'll be organizing a spring cleaning day where members will take their personal property home in the near future.

Events: There is a HARP (Huntsville amateur radio club) tour tomorrow.

There is a leatherworking class on Saturday. 32 people are currently signed up. Tandy Leatherworking Company will be showing people how to make bracers.

There are some safety classing coming up, so keep an eye out for them.

Phil will be teaching a class on the big CNC soon as well and there's another class coming up for the laser cutter on the 4th.

NerdCon is coming up and Makers Local 256 has been encouraged to give a presentation or have a table.

Dmitriy submitted an application for a grant which will hopefully provide this organization some additional funding. We should expect to hear more soon.

Wayne will be presenting a panel on robotics at HamaCon, so be sure to drop by. It's happening in the second to last weekend in June.

The next meeting will occur on Thursday, May 19th.
