Meeting Minutes

Greg started the meeting at 19:40 with a review of the treasurer's report.

Brian gave the facilities report at 19:41. The A/C in the fablab has been down for a while now and is on the short list for replacement. We're planning on shuffling the network equipment and servers into the fablab rack to improve the cooling situation in the office and planning on some other reorganization in the fablab with regard to the older equipment and the non-functional powder bed printer which will result in a relocation of some of the materiel in hackables. We are also planning on moving the small laser vent to the soldering station as a fume hood and a partial reorganization of that space. The zoneminder(camera) machine has recently been rebuilt on a larger drive to support the newer cameras that we've used to replace older failing ones.

There are no events planned at the shop in the near future.

Keep in mind that board elections are 2 months away.

The next meeting will occur on September 17th.
