Meeting Minutes

Ace started the meeting at 19:31 with a review of the board action items (see above). We've been getting lots of pings about the Nerd Rummage Sale since it has typically been in October in the recent past, but we're moving it to April since there are too many conflicts in October. We still need to look over the waiver revamp and finalize it. Kinsey is still working on the CoC resolution procedure.

Kinsey gave the netadmin report at 19:32. The UPS needs new batteries and the smart switch needs to be put on the UPS. The router itself should be good now, but is awaiting further verification.

Aaron gave the treasurer's report at 19:34 (see above). The report above looks worse than it is because it had two rent checks cashed in the reporting interval.

Travis gave the facilities report at 19:36. The old dumpster shack has been torn down and the shed has been moved on to the pad all thanks to Trae and his organizational skills. He has also started work on building a new dumpster shed. The vending machine is dead again due to a failed compressor. The way forward is to replace the cooling unit or to get a new machine. $700 will get us a new cooling unit with a 2 year warranty. Another option is to refit an existing cooling unit with ports so that we can replace the compressor ourselves. Travis is going to look further into cooling unit replacement options.

The next meeting (and board elections) will occur on October 17th.
