Talk:The Wiki

- Hey I'm at alphaonelabs. Psytek wanted to comment on our CACert thing, but couldn't. Do we not allow non-members to have wiki accounts? I know we want to protect against spam but... --Nykodemus 14:55, 3 October 2009 (CDT)
- Right now, the point of not allowing non-members to have accounts is to keep section42 hidden, though I could see a single guest account being created for anyone who wants to use it as long as access can be restricted. --Opticron 15:21, 3 October 2009 (CDT)
- Well the thing was, Psytek thought he should throw in his vote for our certificate warning being a BAD(tm) thing. That particular criticism isn't something I'm really interested in, so I said "put it on the todo list". He found "The Wiki" and "requests", so he figured he could edit it. I actually thought we had anonymous editing. We don't, which can be justified. But then I said "well, create an account". But he couldn't (by the way, the login page has "log in/create account"). So I think we need a solution. --Nykodemus 14:31, 5 October 2009 (CDT)
