Calendar reminders just aren't doing the trick for things I need to accomplish at home. I'd like to be able to set myself a highly visible reminder at my home, something that I'm inclined to look at. I saw PsychoAU create an internet programmable scrolling marquee for his home, I'd like to do something similar.
Proposed Capabilities
- Have Internet Users able send message to be displayed on the marquee
- Have the messages displayed in any color than the one being reserved for Reminders
- Have Home User able to set Reminders to be displayed on the marquee
- Have the Reminders displayed in only one color
- Have systm emit a noise when a new Reminder or Message is received
- Able to remove Messages and Reminders by pressing a button when the item is displayed on the marquee
- Wireless internet connectivity for programming
