Overview

A technology expo at the shop featuring some of the various technologies our members have learned and implemented.

Why

  • A great way to show off what Makers Local 256 can do.
  • A good way to inspire folks into trying new things with their projects.

What

This is a growing list, so don't panic if you're not mentioned on it yet. Leave me a note on the Talk page if you think something should be added.

  • Metal forging
  • Arduino/AVR
  • Mold making
  • Screen printing
  • Computer vision: multitouch methods, L.A.S.E.R. Tag, 3D scanning methods, augmented reality methods
  • Robotics
  • 3D printing
    • Antitronics has a Makerbot Cupcake CNC?
    • Makers Local now has a Makerbot Cupcake CNC!
    • We could present what we know about the history and workings of the BPM 2100, even if we don't have it working by then.

When
