Overview

A technology expo at the shop featuring some of the various technologies our members have learned and implemented.

A DIY Tech Expo

  • DIY = Theme: Do It Yourself. Projects and Products that can be performed by the masses in their own homes.
  • Tech = Theme: the practical application of science to commerce or industry.
  • Expo = Format: exhibition, a collection of things (goods or works of art etc.) for public display.

Why

  • A great way to show off what Makers Local 256 can do.
  • A good way to inspire folks into trying new things with their projects.

Donation Gifts

This is a new idea we'd like to try- rewarding people who give money to the shop by offering small gifts. Sort of like an NPR donation drive, where if you give $75 you get a tote bag. If there's something you make at the shop that you can offer, please volunteer.
