    • strages and nykodemus are working on badges
  • Do we all like the name "metaspace"? Or "the metaspace con"? [DONE! metaspac.es is bought... website coming soon]

Ideas for Events

  • Makeshop overnight "camp-in" at 403 Brown Street
    • This is something I have been wanting to do for a while. We would have to come up with a project that would be amazing. Then plan it out so we know how much time and money it would take. Might be something to discuss with other groups and see what they think. --Jimshoe 09:57, 3 August 2009 (CDT)
      • I think the people at 403 Brown Street aren't going to be cool with this. Omegix 16:46, 14 September 2009 (CDT)
  • 2-hour make-a-thon, 6-hour make-a-thon
    • Maybe we build a bartender robot? A Barbot? -MrWorld
    • Will materials be gathered ahead of time, or during the meetup? -MrWorld
  • Panel discussions on overcoming various hackerspace problems
  • Hackerspace show-n-tell
  • Maybe arrange a live feed from BruCon_2009 and vice versa. --74.95.48.254 [via hackerspaces.org] 04:41, 30 July 2009 (UTC)
  • Maybe a how-to on setting up semantic mediawiki, explanation of use, and a linkup that follows. --strages 15:04, 4 August 2009 (CDT)
    • Perhaps a how-to on setting up for the federation talked about in a recent hackerspaces.org thread. --Brimstone 15:17, 4 August 2009 (CDT)
  • MrWorld and the screen printing students can make con schwag for attendees, or the attendees can pull the screens themselves. -MrWorld 13:00, 11 August 2009 (CDT)
    • print tshirts or badges with ARG-objects on front? Would need prototyping, but hypothetically possible
  • Shitty Movie Night with an irc channel visible in the bottom of the screen for live riffing. -MrWorld 13:00, 11 August 2009 (CDT)
  • A scheduled time-slot for other shops to present their projects
  • Can we have an official schedule of events? I'm afraid it looks like we're not up to much, and we're asking people to travel a long way when there won't be much going on, judging from the official schedule and what we've released so far.
