Considering we've heard twice now that there's a press release made for us and now we're talking marketing venues, I just wanted some clarification as to whether everyone gets to review the press release or whether it was reviewed by the board instead. No offense taken. --[[User:Strages|strages]] 10:21, 14 July 2010 (CDT) | Considering we've heard twice now that there's a press release made for us and now we're talking marketing venues, I just wanted some clarification as to whether everyone gets to review the press release or whether it was reviewed by the board instead. Given those websites, what is hoped to be accomplished by sending a press release about our group in general rather than a particular project or event? --strages 09:46, 14 July 2010 (CDT)
General knowledge of out existence, many times people will send work, information, and donations/sponsorship possibilities but they cant do that if they don't know we exist. General information often causes curiosity, we might get a fluff piece out of it, and we can easily send them specific project information along with the PR. --Preauxphoto 10:07, 14 July 2010 (CDT)
